New blog, new poem

On Sunday in church they played the song, "Thank you for giving to the Lord!" It was a song about a person who was in Heaven and met the person that brought them to the Lord. As I was listening I spoke to the Lord and said, "Please open more doors that I may go through and tell people about you.

Today I did a God's Love Outreach Ministry program for a senior's group that I met for the first time. A gentleman asked me if I would be available to do a program next month for his senior group. When I got back home a woman called me and asked if I would do a program for her church.

God is so awesome!

Last night my dog had some problems and had me up 4 or five times. While awake, the Lord blessed me with part of this poem that I finished a little while ago.

See this is what He was asking me to do today. I know through my obedience 60+ people were touched by His love and grace.

Touch Someone For Me

As I awoke this morning from sleep
and my eyes opened to see,
the Lord spoke to my heart and said,
“Touch someone for me!”

He said, “Tell someone that I love them”,
and if you follow my commandments you will too,
please touch someone for Me today
before the day is through!”

So as I started on my way,
I saw someone that was in need.
I said, “Is there something I can do for you,
what is it, please tell me, what can it be?

The person looked me in the eyes
and said, “Why do anything for me?”
I smiled and said, “Because I was in need one day,
and thank God someone took their time you see!

See God spoke to my heart today
and brought me here just for you.
Because of His love for all of us,
He knew just what you needed too.”

So listen ever so carefully my friends,
when God tells you what to do.
For when He says, “Touch someone for Me,”
It’s about Him, and not about you!
